On April 27th, approximately 200 people rallied in support of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) in a community rally at the WEEK/WHOI studios in East Peoria. Granite Broadcasting demands that language be included in the union contract that allows for outsourcing of news outside the state, thereby ending truly local news coverage.
