Social movement organizations in Bloomington-Normal are launching a new collaborative calendar, called the BloNo Calendar, where people can share their events and meetings.
The calendar focuses on social movement activity in town and maintains independence from political parties.
People can participate in the maintenance of the calendar in three ways.
Submit an Event
BloNo residents can submit an event related to social and economic justice by emailing theblonocalendar@gmail.com. In the header of the email, please include the word Submit, and include a blurb with relevant information (place and time) in the body of the email.
Calendar Planning
If you wish to help maintain the calendar, and make decisions regarding it, email theblonocalendar@gmail.com and include in the heading the word Planning.
Email Digests
For a weekly digest of Blono Calendar events, sent to you by email, send an email to theblonocalendar@gmail.com and include in the header ‘Email Digest’.
