Take Emergency Action to Defend Worker Pensions

Public sector pensions are under attack, and typical of Illinois politicians, they have used the cover of Thanksgiving to attempt to ram through a pension-slashing deal.

Here in Bloomington, there are two actions you can take to defend state worker pensions. First, call the hotline number often (888-412-6570), telling your legislator not to support any pension deal that has not been endorsed by the We Are One Coalition.

Next, attend the union gathering to deliver the same message at the office of Senator Bill Brady, this Monday, December 2nd, at 3:45 pm. His office address is 2203 Eastland Dr., Suite 3 in Bloomington.
